news 48268157_m_123rf.jpgEach week I read a number of workplace wellbeing articles from various online resources. Here are my top three picks from this week. I have added my comments about each article and would like to hear what you think too.

Wellbeing technology in the workplace: a guide.  by Stephen Hayes (Personnel Today)

This article, the first of two, provides a great overview of the many types of technologies being incorporated in to workplace wellbeing programs.

My comments: Wellbeing technologies are here to stay. Wellbeing programs today almost always include some element of technology. This article provides a great (and detailed) overview of the various technologies used in workplace wellbeing programs.

The second in a series of articles focused on wellbeing technology. The growth of health and wellbeing technology is exponential. Who has access to the data and how is it being used?

My comments: There is a lot we need to pay attention to about what data is being collected in workplace wellbeing programs, how it is being used, and how employee privacy is being protected.

My comments: Educating employees on the use of telemedicine or for that matter, the correct resources to use (Primary Care, Emergency Department, etc.) will help with the proper use of telemedicine.
