Why every CMO should promote employee health and wellness.  by Steve Olenski (Forbes)

This article address the high impact and cost of workplace stress. One of those impacts is the ability to attract top talent. This article addresses why CMOs should care about employee health and wellness but it could be writing to any C-level officer.

My comments: CMOs and their peers need to care about employee health and wellbeing. They can't accomplish their business objectives without a happy, healthy team.

Report on federal workers shows benefits of flex schedules.  by Jack Craver (Benefits Pro)

This article reports on a new report that credits flexible schedules and telecommuting with making federal employees happier and more productive.

My comments: Understanding the needs of your workforce, especially across generations, will keep them engaged and prevent turnover. Benefits such as flex schedules and telecommuting are also attractive benefits that will attract the type of workforce you want to hire.

Flexibility has positive impact on productivity.   (Facility Executive)

This article has provides great statistics on the benefits and impact of flex policies. For example: Sixty percent of workers who have flexible work options feel they're 'more productive and engage'.
